Kady is a Rotarian, Nonprofit Founder, Author, Community Expert & Thought Leader

A Forbes Under 30 Impact Scholar and alumna of renowned organizations like EMILY’s List, Organizing for Action, It’s On Us, NextGen America, iGNiTE National, RunningStart, Arena Academy, and many more. Her campaign experience includes contributions to notable candidates such as Jon Ossoff, Mike Bloomberg, and others.

Her political journey is marked by significant milestones, including her recent roles as Regional Organizing Director for When We All Vote, the national, nonpartisan organization co-founded by Michelle Obama to increase voter participation in every election, and as Relational Organizing Program Manager with Michigan United, an organization she proudly considers her political home.

Previously, Kady served in The White House, managing a team in the Office of Presidential Correspondence during President Barack Obama's administration. She also held roles as an Administrative and Constituent Relations Assistant to the Mayor of Lansing and as a Legislative Assistant in the Michigan House of Representatives. Additionally, she was a member of the Women’s Advisory Committee for Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence of Michigan’s 14th Congressional District.

Kady’s commitment to service shines through her role as Chair of the Grants and Community Service Committee for The Rotary Club of Detroit and her dedication to her Detroit roots. A proud graduate of Michigan State University, she is the Founder of Raising Awareness with Students (RAWS), a Detroit-based nonprofit tackling minority health disparities in urban communities, with a primary focus on diabetes awareness and prevention. Through RAWS, she has collaborated with institutions like Harvard Medical School and Wayne State University to create impactful local and international programming.

Kady is also the Principal Consultant at Cox Consulting Agency, where she supports nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations in advancing their grassroots initiatives. Her expertise spans organizing efforts, strategic guidance, and formal processes such as nonprofit formation, business development, and compliance paperwork. From navigating complex processes like nonprofit 501(c)(3) applications and LLC formations to developing impactful strategies for community engagement, Kady’s expertise empowers her clients to achieve their goals with precision and confidence. In her spare time, Kady enjoys participating in the water basketball and bowling leagues at the Detroit Athletic Club. She also loves traveling, dressing up, creating fun content, and embracing life to the fullest.
